Paris Saint-Germain have reached an agreement with Premier League side Bournemouth to sign central defender Illya Zabarnyi, per Le Parisien.
The transfer fee for the Ukraine international (47 caps) is around €66 million for a five-year contract, including bonuses.
The 22-year-old is purported to have the qualities needed to strengthen PSG’s defence and relieve Marquinhos at right-back.
Zabarnyi is expected to fly to Paris once the final details are finalised between the two clubs.
The Ligue 1 champions are also on the verge of formalising the signing of their new goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier from fellow French club, Lille.
Both deals will cost PSG over €100 million, according to L‘Equipe.
PSG will face off against Tottenham in the European Super Cup in Udine, Italy, on August 13.
